Corporate Yoga & Fitness Classes

Did you know that every dollar invested into wellness programs in the workplace will give a company $3 in savings on costs or benefits? (U. of Michigan Research Centre).

It is also know that employees who are active, workout regularly, and eat well have less stress in their lives, and therefore, work with more productivity and have less sick days? No research is needed to know that one is true!

Why have corporate classes?

Yoga and fitness classes are a great way to alleviate stress in the workplace, boost morale, encourage team building, and boost productivity.

Fitness classes like bootcamps or HIIT training are great ways to work out stress and increase good hormones.

Yoga classes are a great way to melt away stress and find balance in your work.

As a certified personal trainer, registered yoga teacher, and certified fitness nutrition specialist (among other qualifications), Liz Javier can offer a variety of classes to deliver better health and wellness to your employees.

Class types available

Bootcamp Circuit

  • This 60-minute bootcamp circuit consists of body weight, resistance, and cardio exercises designed to challenge participants to grow not only physically stronger, but also mentally.

Cardio HIIT

  • A 60-minute Cardio High Intensity Interval Training involves short periods of anaerobic exercise with short, less intense recovery periods. Participants will perform short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by a brief recovery period, repeated several times over 6-minute to 10-minutes at a time.

Vinyasa Yoga

  • A Vinyasa Yoga flow links poses with each other to make a sequence synchronized to a breath. Vinyasa literally translates to "to place in a special way." A participant will be guided by an instructor to place their body into different asanas, or poses, to create a great workout for you body, mind and soul.

Power Vinyasa Yoga

  • Power Vinyasa is different from Vinyasa, only in the fact that more bodyweight power driven movements are incorporated with a faster paced flow. Participants can expect to get a good sweat on while finding balance, strength and stability.

Gentle Yoga

  • This type of yoga is much slower and involves less poses than your typical Vinyasa Flow. There are still small flows within this type of yoga, but you can expect to feel and see more restorative types of poses. A participant will be guided through different postures which will be held for longer periods of time.

20/20/20

  • 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of yoga is the best mix of all the components of cardio, bootcamp and yoga.

What you will need

A quiet, comfortable place large enough to fit the ideal amount of people. This could be a conference room, grass lawn, lunch room, etc. Yoga mats - I may have a few on hand but not enough to supply to a whole class. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own.
