Do you ever feel discouraged or unsure about life, your career, or your business? Or maybe things are going really well but somehow you still feel like things might come crumbling down at any minute. You're working hard, planning out your schedule, checking off the things on your to do list, but you're not getting the results you expected.

If you're like me, you may feel on top of the world right now. But sometimes there is a glimmer of doubt that something is going to go wrong. Sometimes I feel like I won't be able to get the clients I want. I won't be able to pay my rent.

Then I realize, if I keep thinking this way then that's what is going to happen.

Why do we sabotage ourselves with these thoughts? Even when things are going well, why do we expect bad things to happen?

Time to start nurturing the faith in ourselves.

I watched a video from Mindset Coach Kate Crocco this week and she reminded me that everything happens for a reason.

Just know that there is always a reason why things go in a different direction. Wherever you are in life, as long as you know that you are doing everything that you can, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. That was truly proven to me last week.

Months ago when I first had the thought of wanting to quit my corporate job, I decided to work harder for one-on-one clients in my coaching business and private session clients for my personal training/yoga business. I didn't quite see the results I was looking for. I was pushing, making connections, building my online presence, spending money on marketing, but they clients just weren't coming in as expected.

Through all of that work just as I was about to hit a breaking point last week, I met a lady who gave me an opportunity to do group sessions. And now I'm growing my income with group classes, still doing what I love. Totally not what I expected, but it is a great opportunity and I'm really looking forward to diving into it!

In the world of instant gratification, we have to know that patience and consistency is the thing that will keep us present in the moment and keep us pushing forward.

When you work for something that you love, you will appreciate it more than if it was just handed to you. Some of the most successful people came from nothing. Whether successful people had opportunities or money handed to them, they used it as leverage paired with patience and consistency to get where they wanted to go. They never gave up.

When you do finally reach your goal, you will look back at all the hard work you have put in, and be so much more grateful that you kept it up and kept moving forward. There will be times when you think that you have met your breaking point, but that is when you have the opportunity to have a breakthrough and move past all the obstacles in your way.

Stay on the road because it's going somewhere nice,
